Cobourg August Art

HOME

First of all, I have to note I am SO happy the big show is over and I have some time to take a break from actual painting (but don’t worry the ideas are still flowing!), and focus a bit more on the business end of things. Thank you to everyone who came out (and sent well-wishes) to support the arts! The feedback was amazing, there is always lively conversations, and surprise guests!

I have a bit more breathing room during august, but a few more opportunities to share my work and for you to view my work down town Cobourg!

Saturday, August 25, 2018 (AKA: MY BIRTHDAY!)
10AM to 2PM (Art Walk), 3PM to 11PM (Pub Crawl)

Tour the art windows in our downtown locations and visit the Art Gallery of Northumberland on the third floor of Victoria Hall from August 23-25th.

Follow the Facebook Event to get more details as they arise: Art Walk & Pub Crawl as there will be a map provided soon, with locations of artists and pubs participating!

This is going to be a super fun event, and I sure hope you can make it out! My “Badlands” will be on display at The Chamber of Commerce at 278 George Street (check out the little pub across the street too, George and Orange, 67 Orange Street).

THE PAINTED TREE

If you are not already familiar with The Painted Tree, a local art shop, you should go check them out. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary and are displaying a few local artists work. You can see my little “Glorious Lake Ontario” there, and be sure to grab one of my new business cards with the image on it!

MUSIC IN YOUR MEDIUM

Beginning today (August 1st) “Sounds Of the Next Generation” SONG has an online art auction happening until August 25th. I have donated my piece “Gatineau, Quebec” with all proceeds going towards FREE after school music programming for children. Amazing cause! Please go make your bid (on any of the work), everyone wins in fundraisers like this.
