Thinking Ahead: Wrapping up 2019

We are over half way through the year, and one that started off rocky and  unmotivated has transformed into a multitude of opportunities and events.  I finally started oil painting, I was accepted into my first juried show at the Colborne Art Gallery, I have been working on a variety of custom paintings, and I participated in the Cobourg Waterfront Festival for the first time.

Now here we are with August almost upon us, and I’m plotting out the rest of 2019 in my art world. I will be completing my first Oil Collection, a total of 5 paintings, 4 of which are Rocky Mountain Landscapes and 1 that is the great “Old Woman Bay” of Lake Superior. I haven’t come up with a name for this collection yet, and am open to suggestions, please!

SOTH has their festival of the arts happening in October, there is another juried show coming up for the Art Gallery Northumberland (I am going to apply, but no guarantee I will be accepted… stay tuned), and in November I will be once again participating in St.Mark’s Christmas Market.
